Consisting of nearly 50 team members, Beacon’s community engagement department is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our residents, creating connections with service providers in our neighborhoods, and coordinating programming and activities in our communities. Our goal is to enable our residents to stay housed, be healthy, age in place, and thrive. In addition to being the right thing to do, this commitment to community engagement helps keep our properties stable and successful.
Resident service coordinators connect residents with critical programming such as health screenings, personal care services, family support services, job readiness and employment trainings, youth development programs, and financial literacy and money management coaching. At our communities that serve seniors and residents with disabilities, we focus on resident health through our Wellness Programs, in which we organize services and programs to promote healthy living, improve quality of life, and allow our residents to comfortably age in place. This dedicated approach to community engagement differentiates Beacon in the multifamily housing industry.
