Beacon Communities Continues Growth with Two New Human Resource Hires

Fritz Cope will fill the role of Director, Total Rewards and Shaun McPartland will be Director, Talent Acquisition

Boston, MA — Beacon Communities, an industry leader in affordable, market and mixed income property development, announced it has hired two new members for their Human Resources team: Fritz Cope as Director, Total Rewards and Shaun McPartland as Director, Talent Acquisition.

Prior to joining the Beacon team, Mr. Cope was Senior Manager, Rewards & Technology at Wheelabrator Technologies for over four years. Mr. Cope will bring over 25 years of human resources experience across fintech, energy, biotech and manufacturing to his role at Beacon. In his new role, he will design, develop and implement a total rewards strategy with the aim of attracting and retaining a diverse and skilled workforce, and will continuously assess Beacon’s benefits programs for competitiveness, innovation and compliance.

Mr. McPartland comes to Beacon most recently from the Pyramid Hotel Group, where he served as Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition for nearly seventeen years. In his new role as Director, Talent Acquisition, Mr. McPartland will be a human resources leader and subject matter expert, building strong relationships with hiring managers and establishing the use of best practices to ensure Beacon identifies and hires the best talent available.
